I have installed Win XP and after a month Win 7 came out, some of my friends in my university has installed windows 7 in their Mac book. But my Mac book has 2 GB RAM and 250 GB hard drive, I need to run MS SQL server on it, and also need to use some performance monitor application from MS.
1. What should I do, should I stick to Win XP or remove it and install win 7?
2. Does Win 7 take up more RAM?

It does but not that much. But If you don’t care about fancy animations and just want the functionality, I prefer you go to Windows XP since It’s still better in functionality.
