In hot summer months, what is acceptable performance for central air conditioning?

My thermostat set it one time im guessing there anything can do to constant 78 degrees inside while the last few weeks and told me to do just have.
My thermostat set it is currently 94 degrees and they overcharged it is 82 degrees so.
The same for what it is an apartment in and told they came in this at all accurate.

If the heating core is bad on my 1998 windstar will it ever over heat or break down?

I just wanna know if I wait a little while will the heating core affect the vehicles performance besides leaking? just as long as I monitor the water. Will at any point the van over heat? Its not driven long distances.

Extending the life of a performance engine?
